The exercise began with a safety briefing, where team members gathered to review critical protocols, including evacuation routes, assembly points, and the proper use of firefighting equipment.
Hands-on Emergency Drills
In hands-on training, employees practiced operating fire extinguishers to tackle controlled fires, mastering the PASS (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep) technique. Staff also completed fire hose deployment drills, simulating the rapid setup of water-based suppression systems to address larger-scale hazards. To replicate real-world conditions, a smoke evacuation drill was conducted, with team members calmly navigating exit routes while covering their faces to avoid simulated smoke inhalation, ultimately assembling safely at the designated outdoor meeting point.
