Self sealing screws come with a rubber O ring pre installed in a precision machined groove under the screw head. When you drive the screw in the O ring compresses against both the screw head and the mating surface creating a complete watertight and dust tight seal.

These sealing screws eliminate the need for separate sealing washers or liquid sealants which saves assembly time and reduces part inventory. The captive O ring design ensures consistent sealing performance on every unit.

The screws are manufactured from stainless steel 304 or 316 for maximum corrosion resistance. Standard metric sizes range from M2 to M8. Different head styles are available including Phillips pan head hex washer head flat head countersunk and torx truss head.

O ring materials can be selected based on your application requirements: NBR for general purpose oil resistance, silicone for high temperature flexibility, and Viton for chemical resistance. IP67 and IP68 rated sealing protection is available.
