High Strength Fasteners For Heavy Load Lifting Equipment

Engineered for Maximum Safety. Eliminating Sudden Fracture Risks with Premium Alloy Steel, Advanced Hydrogen Embrittlement Prevention, and 100% Magnetic Particle Inspection.

The Critical Challenge: Sudden Fracture & Safety Hazards

Heavy load lifting equipment—such as overhead cranes, industrial hoists, offshore rigging, and construction elevators—operates under extreme dynamic stresses. The most catastrophic risk in these high-stakes operations is the sudden fracture of critical load-bearing fasteners.

Catastrophic Failure Risks

A sudden fracture occurs without warning, often due to microscopic internal flaws, fatigue accumulation, or improper material selection. This presents a severe safety hazard, potentially leading to equipment collapse, dropped loads, and fatal injuries.

Dynamic Load Stress

Conventional bolts simply cannot withstand the rigorous demands of continuous heavy lifting. Under dynamic stress and emergency braking, substandard fasteners suffer from thread shearing, elongation under proof load, and brittle failure.

Our Fail-Safe Solution

Our high-strength fastening solutions are meticulously engineered to eradicate these safety hazards. By utilizing premium alloy steel and applying state-of-the-art metallurgical treatments, we guarantee fail-safe performance exceeding global lifting standards.

Engineering the Solution: Metallurgy & Toughness

Defeating Hydrogen Embrittlement (HE)

Hydrogen embrittlement is a silent killer in high-tensile fasteners. During electroplating or acidic cleaning processes, atomic hydrogen can infiltrate the steel lattice. Under high tensile stress, this hydrogen migrates to areas of stress concentration, causing sudden, delayed brittle fracture. For heavy load lifting equipment, this is an unacceptable risk.

Our proprietary manufacturing protocol includes an immediate, strictly controlled baking process (dehydrogenation). Utilizing advanced laboratory refrigerators for hydrogen embrittlement testing, we verify that every batch is completely free of trapped hydrogen, preventing any risk of delayed product breaking.

Impact Toughness & Premium Alloy Steel

Lifting equipment experiences sudden shock loads—such as emergency braking or load shifting. We meticulously analyze the Charpy V-notch impact toughness of our fasteners, ensuring they absorb massive kinetic energy without fracturing. We exclusively utilize premium alloy steels (such as 42CrMo and 35CrMo), heat-treated to achieve the perfect equilibrium between ultimate tensile strength and ductile resilience.

Uncompromising Quality Control & Laboratory Testing

To ensure that the appearance and structural integrity of the product are 100% flawless, our fully equipped laboratory and full inspection workshops conduct rigorous multi-stage testing.

100% Magnetic Particle Inspection

We implement a rigorous 100% MPI protocol to detect any surface or subsurface microscopic cracks that could propagate into a sudden fracture during heavy lifting.

Tensile & Torque Testing

Our tensile machines test the ultimate tensile strength and yield point, while digital torque meters record the exact torque value of each product to meet precise customer requirements.

Hardness & Elemental Analysis

Vickers and Rockwell hardness testers guarantee metallurgical requirements, while X-ray fluorescence spectrometers conduct elemental and environmental (RoHS) analysis.

Optical Sorting Automation

Our high-speed optical sorters accurately detect screw sizes and defects, preventing mixing of grades, inspecting more than 600 screws per minute at peak efficiency.

*Additional laboratory equipment includes: Salt spray testing machines, metallographic inlay and cutting machines, constant temperature and humidity boxes, friction resistance testers, two-dimensional measuring instruments, and digital display micrometers. Every product undergoes strict testing to exceed customer expectations.

Advanced Manufacturing & Automated Forging

At the heart of our production capability is our state-of-the-art automated forging process. We deploy multi-station cold heading machines, including two-mode four, three-mode three, three-mode six, and four-point cold heading machines. Combined with advanced tooth rolling machines, we seamlessly produce M1-M16 high-strength screws.

Our automated thread rolling process, as opposed to thread cutting, ensures that the continuous grain flow of our premium alloy steel remains intact. This massively increases the shear strength and resistance to fatigue failure under dynamic loads.

Furthermore, our machining centers produce precision customized lathe parts with tolerance requirements as small as 0.006mm. We also operate high-precision stamping machines capable of producing components from 0.1mm up to 3-5mm thickness, alongside automated lathe workshops for knurled and inlay nuts.

FAQ: Working Load Limit & Safety

What is the Working Load Limit (WLL) for your heavy lifting fasteners?

The Working Load Limit (WLL) is the maximum safe load a fastener is designed to carry in general service. Our engineering team calculates WLL based on a strict Safety Factor (SF), typically 4:1 or 5:1 for lifting applications, ensuring the Minimum Breaking Load (MBL) is massively higher than the daily operational stress.

How do you ensure fasteners won't suffer from sudden fracture under shock loads?

We prevent sudden fracture through three pillars: 1) Selecting premium alloy steel (like 42CrMo) with high impact toughness. 2) Strict immediate baking to eliminate hydrogen embrittlement. 3) 100% Magnetic Particle Inspection to detect and discard any fasteners with microscopic surface or subsurface defects.

Can you provide custom non-standard fasteners for unique lifting equipment?

Absolutely. We provide comprehensive pre-sale, in-sale, and after-sales service, offering R&D, technical support, and personalized customization. Whether you need specialized high-tensile bolts or precision CNC machined lifting pins with 0.006mm tolerances, we deliver one-stop hardware assembly solutions.
